Introducing Comme Si & Hudson Wilder, a collaboration between two contemporary heritage brands that marks a continued celebration of community amongst Asian American creatives and long-time friends. United by a shared love for design, culinary arts, and timeless style, we are proud to unveil the fusion of form and function through two unique design objects—The Tecnica Bento Box and The Ginkgo Leaf Silk Scarf.

The collaboration celebrates each brand’s expertise: Comme Si’s mastery of color and fine textiles combined with Hudson Wilder’s artful approach to industrial design. The central design theme is the ginkgo biloba, a tree native to and abundant in East Asia that is also commonly found throughout the streets of New York–an homage to both brands’ roots. Fallen ginkgo leaves near Hudson Wilder’s studio were collected to create cyanotypes which were then manipulated and recolored to create the silk scarf pattern. Drawing inspiration from the clean lines and geometric shapes of modern architecture, the Tecnica Bento Box pushes the boundaries of traditional design. Made from aircraft-grade aluminum, a sustainable metal renowned for its infinite recyclability, the bento box features a curved interior wall in the shape of a ginkgo leaf.
